Born Blake James Allen on 2/5/1979 to Helen and James Allen, Blake set his sights on the world. The nurses at the hospital that cared for Blake said that he was always the noisiest baby in the infant care unit. He always wanted to be the center of attention. Blake is still this way. Growing up, Blake was not shy. He was a very outgoing child. He was always picked first for sports activities and he was always a leader. While playing basketball during recess one day, Blake caught the attention of one of the teachers who was a little league basketball coach. The coach talked to Blake after recess and Blake's athletic career began. Blake played little league football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. He also ran track. During high school, Blake played football, basketball, and ran track. He was good at all three sports. He has numerous awards and honors in these sports. Blake decided to focus on basketball, his junior and senior year in high school. He became one of the top high school players in the state of Maddocha. He was recruited by the top colleges in Maddocha, among them, Reliant University, Kelly Hills University, Robbins University, Skelton F. C. College, Stovall A & M University, and Dalrymple University. Blake chose to go to Dalrymple University. He was an immediate success at Dalrymple University. In 1998, Blake was selected 12th overall by the Maddocha City Wolves. Blake has become one of the leagues top players. |
